Mandatory subscription until April, 28th for tutorials
(only 40 places available)

Serena Ivaldi, coordinator of the AS3 project, invites you to participate in her summer school at the beginning of July in Nancy on artificial intelligence for human-robot interaction, that is open as well to researchers in robotics as in humanities and social sciences (HSS).

The summer school offers an intensive 5-day programme of keynotes, lectures and practical led by experienced AI and robotics experts.

Participants will engage with top researchers and will be tutored to use AI models and methods on real robots, advancing in their knowledge to deploy human–robot interaction systems grounded in recent advances in artificial intelligence. Several platforms will be available: quadrupeds, humanoids, entertainment robots, etc.
They will have the opportunity to engage with industry leaders building and deploying AI methods in the real world.

Participants are encouraged to present their work during poster sessions.

A special session led by human science leaders, members of the AS3 project and the interdisciplinary subject matter Acculturation-Methodology, will address ethical and sociological questions related to the deployment of AI systems in robots.
